Kamer customized the route to match my limited technical ability and fitness level. He's also a really nice guy and it was fun to watch him navigate the trails on the way down. The Skakavac waterfall is a stunning natural wonder just a short trip (about an hour) outside downtown Sarajevo. You can reach it by taxi and a 4 km walk, or, as my wife and I did, by mountain bike! Despite being in our 40s and regular bikers, we're not experienced with MTB, but we managed the tour just fine. Our guide, Kamer, is a former downhill biking champion of Bosnia, but he tailored the trip to our needs and prepared everything with great precision. We rode on quality MTB bikes with carbon fiber frames, which were very well maintained and adjusted to our weight and height beforehand. I highly recommend this tour.

We had an incredibly fun and thrilling experience exploring the beautiful mountain scenery on this outing. It was our first time mountain biking, and Loren did an excellent job guiding us, sharing insights about the region, and ensuring we had a fantastic time. He went above and beyond, even taking some great photos for us. If you're not an experienced mountain biker, I highly recommend opting for the van to get up the mountain, it's very steep.
