Our day started with a meet up in downtown Sarajevo where I was greeted by my guide Vekas. Our first stop was the Olympic Museum, followed by a visit to the famous bobsled track on Mt. Trebevic. Despite its popularity, Vekas made the experience unique and enjoyable. His passion for photography was evident as he happily snapped some shots for me along the way. We also explored Mt. Igman, culminating in a climb to see the ski jump. Thanks to Vekas for a memorable morning!

We had an amazing day exploring the old abandoned Olympic hotel, ski jump, and bobsleigh track! Our guide Safet was fantastic, providing insightful commentary and driving us around beautiful Sarajevo. He also recommended several other places to visit around Sarajevo, which was greatly appreciated. We highly recommend this trip, especially with Safet as your guide!

I love getting out into nature, especially when surrounded by beautiful hills and historic sites. Did you know that Matti Nykänen from Finland won Olympic Gold in Ski jumping at Igman in 1984? It's incredible to think about the history and achievements associated with these landscapes.
