Trebević is one of the favorite mountains of Sarajevans. It is so close to the city that you can get there in 15 minutes, and yet far enough to enjoy the peaceful nature, great hiking trails and awesome views. Join us on this trip and explore one of the 1984 Winter Olympic venues, the bobsled track, and hike to the top of the mountain to enjoy one of the best views of Sarajevo and surrounding mountains.

Mediocre, but in case this is too much for you we can do some easier hikes on this mountain. 3,5 hours of hiking 8,5 km total distance 450 m elevation gain
TRIP HIGHLIGHTS AND DESCRIPTION
This trip starts with a 15 minutes drive from Sarajevo to Trebević mountain. When we get ready for our hike we will enter one of the trails that lead to the top of the mountain.
Hiking trail is in a shade and surrounded with pine trees which makes this hike pleasant even in hot summer days. There is a fresh water spring and a few nice spots to have a break on the way up. After 4 kilometers we will reach the top and get our reward – a stunning view of Sarajevo and its surroundings. We’ll have a lunch on the top in order to enjoy the view as long a possible.
After we’ve eaten all the food we will head back down to see the 1984. Olympic bobsled track and take some cool photos there. When we’re done with visiting the bobsled track we will go back to our car and head back to Sarajevo.
